Yoga & Dining Events

Our signature group experiences combining guided yoga with extraordinary plant-forward cuisine, held weekly in Los Angeles.

An Evening of Movement, Flavor, and Connection

Imagine stepping out of the rush of your day and into a warm, candlelit studio where the scent of fresh herbs drifts through the air. You unroll a mat alongside fellow seekers of something more meaningful than a typical night out. For the next three hours, you will move, breathe, laugh, taste, and connect in ways that remind you what it feels like to be truly present.

That is the essence of a Yoga Dining Club event. Since 2019, we have hosted over 400 of these gatherings, and each one is unique. The yoga sequences change with the seasons, the menus rotate based on what is freshest at our partner farms, and the guest list always brings a new mix of regulars and newcomers. What stays constant is the feeling you take home: a deep, quiet sense of wellbeing that comes from nourishing both body and soul in the company of others.

What Your Evening Looks Like

Every detail is designed to guide you from the busyness of daily life into a state of relaxed presence.

Arrival and Settling In (5:30 PM - 6:00 PM)

You arrive at our West Los Angeles studio, greeted by soft ambient music and the glow of candles. Our team welcomes you with a signature welcome drink, a house-made botanical elixir crafted from seasonal ingredients like lavender and lemon, turmeric and ginger, or rosemary and grapefruit. This is your moment to transition from the outside world. You can change into comfortable clothing in our dedicated changing area, select a yoga mat from our collection of premium mats, and choose your spot in the practice space. There is no rush. We encourage you to sit quietly, sip your drink, and let the atmosphere settle you.

Guided Yoga Practice (6:00 PM - 7:00 PM)

The yoga session begins with a brief introduction from our lead instructor, who sets an intention for the evening that connects the physical practice to the meal that follows. The flow is designed to be accessible to all levels while still offering depth for experienced practitioners. A typical autumn session might include warming sun salutations, standing poses focused on grounding and stability, hip openers that release stored tension, and a long, luxurious savasana accompanied by live singing bowls or gentle guitar. Throughout the practice, modifications are offered for every pose. You will never feel left behind or out of place. The intention is not physical achievement but embodied awareness, preparing your senses to fully receive the meal ahead.

Mindful Transition (7:00 PM - 7:15 PM)

After the final resting pose, we guide you through a brief gratitude meditation and then invite you to the transition lounge, where herbal teas, warm towels, and a small amuse-bouche await. This in-between moment is intentional. Rather than rushing from mat to table, we allow the calm of the practice to settle into your body. Guests often remark that this transition is one of their favorite parts of the evening, a pause that makes the arrival at the dinner table feel like a genuine event.

Multi-Course Dinner (7:15 PM - 8:30 PM)

The dining room is set communally, with long tables dressed in linen, seasonal floral arrangements, and soft candlelight. Seating is open and intentional, designed to encourage conversation between strangers. Each course is introduced by our chef, who explains the ingredients, sourcing, and the intention behind the dish. A spring menu might open with a chilled pea and mint soup with cashew cream, followed by a composed salad of roasted beets, citrus, and pistachio dukkah, a main of miso-glazed eggplant with black rice and charred broccolini, and a dessert of rose and cardamom panna cotta with seasonal berries. Every dish is plant-forward, meaning plants are the stars while occasional sustainably sourced animal products may appear as accents. Beverages flow freely throughout, including house-made shrubs, herbal infusions, and sparkling water with seasonal garnishes.

Seasonal Menu Highlights

Our menus rotate monthly, featuring the best of what Southern California farms have to offer.

Spring & Summer

Bright, vibrant dishes celebrating the abundance of warm-weather produce. Think heirloom tomato tartare with smoked almond ricotta, grilled peach and arugula salads with balsamic reduction, charred corn and avocado tostadas with pickled red onion, and coconut panna cotta with passion fruit coulis. The yoga practice for these months tends toward energizing flows and heart-opening sequences that match the expansive energy of the season.

Autumn & Winter

Hearty, warming dishes that honor the slower rhythm of cooler months. Expect roasted butternut squash soup with sage brown butter, wild mushroom risotto with truffle oil, braised root vegetable tagine with preserved lemon and harissa, and dark chocolate mousse with sea salt and olive oil. The yoga practice shifts toward grounding, restorative sequences with longer holds and more emphasis on breathwork and introspection.
